In December of 2015, the Animas Museum opened a new exhibit to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of Purgatory Ski Resort. Although the exhibit closed in 2017, here we present an online version to celebrate Purgatory and the legacy of skiing in La Plata County.
