This quilt was made for Laura Belle Boyce by her sister Ruby after Laura Belle married Carl Aspaas in 1946. Quilts were often made to celebrate life events such as marriage and the Double Wedding Ring pattern holds special significance. Delicate quilting stitches create a wonderful design in the large, solid pink spaces.
