Events create opportunities. We believe the twin celebrations in 2026 of our nation’s Declaration of Independence and Colorado’s 150th anniversary of statehood presents the people of Colorado an opportunity to engage each other more fully and build a shared future and outlook.

Most importantly, we are asking you to join us in producing events that will celebrate these twin milestones of nationhood and statehood as well as to educate our citizens about our past, discover how different groups experienced that past, and to preserve the values that make Colorado a great place to live for all of us.
